There Will Be No Merge ATM

After a discussion with Project Blender, we have decided to amicably part as two different design groups working on two different games.

This was decided just moments ago in a meeting with all leadership parties.

endie and I will add more information as necessary, but we are planning on proceeding as usual.

Please respect their assets, as they have agreed to respect ours.

Since we are not merging, we need to reorganize our project. Our first step is to work on a prototype. As many of you know, we have been working on 'project nilneas' for a while. We will be continuing this for the prototype. We have a week or so to gather our resources before our programmer can come on board so let's get into gear! Pirgah is working on environmental assets, I'm working on the player character, and monster animations, TG is working on NPC dialogue and technical stat stuff. We are most in need of buildings and other environmental stuff and props like lights, benches, well, stuff like that. Anyway, we are trying to reorganize ourselves, so anyone interested in joining we welcome!

So sorry I'm not going to be here dring the week but if there is any of the lighting/furniture concepts I've drawn that you wanna use, by all means go for it

Komatik of Project Blender has asked us to delete our accounts from the site. If you feel that you want to do this, you may. You don't have to do it.

In addition, Komatik has claimed that we are copycatting Project Blender's work.

I shared our situation with our lawyer, and he says that we have a case if anything goes wrong, so don't worry. This will be sorted shortly.

How could we be copycatting them when prism have been in development for so long and our mechanics and story was in place long before theirs? Makes no sense to me, but good to hear that a lawyer is on our side.

Yeah. My family has some pretty close connections to a law-firm, so we don't have to pay legal fees.
If it comes to it, we can fight until Project Blender can't afford their fees.

Yes, it's too bad that our groups couldn't have stayed amicable. Unfortunately, I believe that PB intends to sever all positive ties with us as they have banned both me and TG from even viewing their forum as a guest ):

Just to be clear, our first priority will be to resolve this in a calm and rational manner.

If that is not possible, then we will attempt to resolve this in a way that best protects our IP.

If that does not work, then we will need to resort to legal protection.

I do not intend for it to be our first resort.

Bit sad to think it came to that in the end, but we have been going for longer than them as NuGGa says. Seen as though nothing else has been written here I'm guessing that you've heard nothing else about it?
