These are the rules for the whole forum, each member is responsible for reading them at his/her own expense. Offenders will not receive a warning in many cases and will simply receive appropriate action.

Please keep in mind that each forum has its own rules for posting, these are only the rules for the whole forum.

1. Please be considerate. Being a game forum, we acknowledge that our community consists of adult users as well as many younger users. We do not use a language filter, but please moderate your own language. This includes slurs and curses; use at your own risk.

2. Along with the above rule, please be considerate of other people's opinions and work. Again, this is a friendly and family oriented site, and rudeness will not be tolerated. If a moderator feels that your post needs moderation for either of the first two reasons, you will not receive another chance.

3. No grave posting/necroing or double posting. While this may seem like a fairly silly rule, it can be rather annoying to see threads needlessly bumped. Use your common sense when following this rule.

4. Do not create pointless threads or posts. Ie posts consisting solely of: "Hi!" "lol" "first post!" etc. These posts provide little to no community value and contribute to the necroing and double posting mentioned above. If you feel the need to post something like this, please make sure you include something nice to say to the original poster too! =]

5. Do NOT spam. Spam will be promptly deleted and the violating users banned. This includes, intentional repeat posts, posts to boost postcount links to suspicious and malicious sites, and advertizement for bootleg products.

6. This is a forum for Prism, we do not in anyway condone or support the use of bootlegged/cracked/hacked etc software. DO NOT ask for illegally obtained software in any way through this forum. We don't really want a second suit. Oh yeah, no pr0nz.

7. It may seem fairly self explanatory, but please post in the correct section.

8. Please read around before posting a new thread or PMing a moderator/admin.

9. Signatures and avatars must be of reasonable content and size. Signatures may be changed by admins if necessary to conform to a courteous size.

10. Any violation of privacy, courtesy, law or any other reasonable guideline will be seen as a forum offense and treated as such at the discretion of the moderators and admins.

Please use common sense when following these rules. Attempts to purposely find loopholes in these rules will result in appropriate punishment and will not go unnoticed. Interpretation and enforcement of rules and imposed consequences are at the sole discretion of the moderators and administrators.

These rules are here for the intention of making the forums a better community for everyone. Each rule uses basic common sense, so if you are generally a courteous forum user, you should find yourself right at home.

Any questions about the rules, and the answer is not found in this post, should be directed at moderators or admins, we are here to help!

We, the administrative and moderation team at the Prism Forum, are in NO WAY responsible for the content of the forums. We try our best to enforce the above in the most efficient way possible but sometime it is not possible in every case due to time, connectivity or location constraints. Rules are subject to change at anytime without notice. It is the responsibility of the user not the staff to know the rules and read the entirety of this post. In addition we are not responsible for any loss of data or system damages caused by accessing our site or any files or links provided by other members. We work to maintain our system and posts are virus free; however, being a public forum, we make no guarantees as to the content and intention of other posters.

By submitting work to the forums and to the project via email, private message, SVN or other, you give the Prism team the rights to use and redistribute your work within the confines of the project and its related media without your express consent. All contributions are credited to their creators.

If you have any questions or concerns about any legal aspects of our game, please contact us via or one of the forum administrators.
